This is a soup plate from the Anemon series made by the famous Swedish kiln Rörstrand. A cute bowl decorated with anemone floral patterns. Anemon is a series that was only manufactured for a fairly short period of time, from 1965 to 1968.

It was a pop design in the 1960s, and considering the traditional era where traditional wreath patterns were the mainstream, Anemon was so simple that it seemed to have an unorthodox aspect. Although it gradually began to gain popularity in the era after production was discontinued, Anemon has not been re-released to this day. Therefore, despite being a popular series, it is only available in the vintage market.

Anemon has a weak brown glaze, so it is easy to lose paint and make cutlery marks more noticeable. Coupled with the short production period, they are also highly rare and the number of them in good condition is gradually decreasing.

■Details Manufacturer: Rorstrand / Rorstrand Designer: Marianne Westman / Marianne Westman?
Country of Manufacture: Sweden Year: 1965-1968 Condition: ★★★☆☆ (3: Average)
There are no cracks or chips, but cutlery marks can be seen in the center of the plate and around the edges of the rising edge. There are also some scratches near the hill on the back. Although the condition is relatively good among Anemon, please be careful of cutlery marks.
