スウェーデンの老舗名窯が紡いだ 北欧ヴィンテージの逸品

This coffee and saucer set is from the Anemone series, a masterpiece by the renowned Swedish pottery company Rörstrand. Featuring an anemone floral design, this charming piece is a rare piece from a very short series that was only produced between 1965 and 1968.

Anemone was a pop design for the 1960s, and its very simple design was considered unorthodox at the time, considering that traditional wreath patterns were the norm up until then. Anemone gradually gained popularity after production was discontinued, but for some reason it has not been re-released to this day. Therefore, despite being a popular series, Anemone can only be obtained as a vintage item.

A characteristic of Anemone products is that the surface glaze is thin and weak, making it prone to scratches and cutlery marks. Given the short production period, those in good condition are becoming increasingly rare. This time, we have a piece in very good condition.

■Details Manufacturer: Rorstrand / Rorstrand Designer: Marianne Westman / Marianne Westman Country of origin: Sweden Year: 1965-1968 Condition: ★★★★★ (5: Complete)
The Anemone has a thin transparent glaze on the surface, which makes it prone to scratches. Although there are some slight scratches on the saucer due to storage, it is in dead stock condition. Both the cup and saucer are in unused condition, retaining their original color and luster.

■Size: Cup diameter 7.2cm, height 6cm, saucer diameter 13.2cm

Rörstrand

Rörstrand is Scandinavia's oldest porcelain manufacturer, founded in 1726 in Stockholm, Sweden. The company produced many of Sweden's most celebrated designers, including Marianne Westman, Gunnar Nylund, and Carl-Harry Stålhane. Rörstrand tableware has been used at events such as the Nobel Prize banquet.

Rörstrand produces both everyday tableware and artistic masterpieces. As Europe's second oldest porcelain maker after Meissen, Rörstrand holds a distinguished place in ceramic history. Notably, ARABIA — now known as a Finnish manufacturer — originally started as Rörstrand's Helsinki factory. Our store offers a wide range of products from this most traditional and historic Nordic maker, from art pieces to everyday tableware.
