スウェーデンの国民的作家が生んだ 手のひらに宿る北欧の物語
An Easter egg cup designed by Swedish ceramic artist Lisa Larson. This work was created as a small size parent bird version. There are two variations of the parent bird, rooster and hen, but this is the rooster. It has a structure that can be packed with multiple eggs in the form of being carried on the back.
Påsk means Easter in Swedish. Easter eggs are decorative eggs that are decorated with colors to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. This is also not an edible egg stand, but was designed as a decorative plate for Easter eggs. The eyes are very cute, and you can feel her sculpting skills in the fact that she gives a neat expression to a small figure.
After leaving Gustavsberg in 1980, where she had worked for many years, Lisa Larson worked as a freelance designer, receiving requests from companies around Europe. This was designed in 1982 at the request of KF, a Swedish co-op. After that, Lisa Larson launched her own workshop called Keramikstudion and is reprinting this work.
This is the original egg cup released in 1982. This product, which was created during the freelance period, has a sticker labeled "Lisa Larson Design" to emphasize that it was designed by Lisa Larson.
