スウェーデンの国民的作家が生んだ 手のひらに宿る北欧の物語
This is a turtle figurine designed by Sweden's leading ceramicist Lisa Larson in the late 1960s. The series name "SKÖLDPADDOR" means "turtle" in Swedish. Of the several sizes produced, this is the largest one.
The shiny shell is covered with a blue glaze and decorated with flower petals . Turtles are a relatively rare motif in Lisa Larson's work, so they are rarely seen on the vintage market.
