スウェーデンの国民的作家が生んだ 手のひらに宿る北欧の物語
This is a trio of teapots from the Matilda series, designed by Lisa Larson for Gustavsberg in the 1960s. The pots are quite large, with a cute, rounded, raccoon-like shape. Lisa Larson's works include many ceramic plates and ceramic animal statues, but tableware designed by her is rare. Another Lisa Larson dish from the same period is the sister product "Josephine," which is made with a similar shape, but only the cups are made.
The Matilda series is the only Lisa Larson tableware series produced as a single series. Matilda includes cups, teapots, plates, sugar bowls, creamers, and a pig-shaped candle holder. This teapot is a rare piece, produced in limited quantities within the series.
