スウェーデンの国民的作家が生んだ 手のひらに宿る北欧の物語
This is a sugar pot from the Matilda series, designed by Lisa Larson at Gustavsberg in the 1960s. It is a cute piece with a round, raccoon-like shape. Lisa Larson's works include many ceramic plates and ceramic animal statues, but tableware designed by Lisa Larson is rare. There are also other Lisa Larson tableware from the same period that can be considered sister pieces. There is also the "Josephine" model, in which only the cup is made in a similar shape.
The Matilda series is the only Lisa Larson tableware series produced as a single series. Matilda includes cups, teapots, plates, sugar bowls, creamers, and pig-shaped candle holders.
