北欧の新緑を一杯のお茶に リンドベリの代表作ベルサ
This is a tea cup from the Berså series, designed in 1961 by Stig Lindberg, one of Sweden's leading modern design masters. This is a vintage teacup manufactured in Sweden from the 1960s to the 1970s. There are many teacups, but most of them were used as daily necessities and often have paint loss or stains on the top. Although it has a lot of scratches and dirt from regular use, this one is in the best condition among Versa tea cups.
There is also a reprint version of the Versa Tea Cup, but there are differences in the color of the leaves compared to the original. The biggest difference is the shape; the reprint version is made of thin bone china and has a contoured design around the mouth, while the vintage version has a rounded mouth and overall shape.
It is no exaggeration to say that Northern Europe is a region where half of the year is winter. Not only is it extremely cold, there are only about 4 to 5 hours of daylight in winter. A feature of Scandinavian tableware is that it is full of designs that give you a sense of warmth even on winter days. The lush green of the leaves is a color scheme that brings fresh green color to the dining table. Berså means arbor, and the design evokes the feel of a cool afternoon fika spent in a corner of a garden.

There is some minor paint loss on the sides of the cup and saucer. There is slight bubbling and horizontal penetration of the glaze on the underside of the handle. There is no back stamp on the cup height. This is due to the craftsman forgetting to press the button. This is a cup in relatively good condition among Bersa Vintage. Please note the slight difference in color from the saucer.
