北欧の匠が手がけた ヴィンテージの逸品
A turquoise oven dish made in a kiln called Deco in Helsingborg, a port town in the southwest of Sweden. The series name Parlan means "pearl" in Swedish, and the pattern drawn on the rim expresses a string of pearls like a necklace.
Deco is a workshop that closed in 2008, but produced many excellent tableware in the 1970s at its peak. This oven dish is 25.5 cm deep and is in good condition as a dead stock item.
The refreshing blue of the glaze on the plate creates an atmosphere unique to a seaside town. The initials of the painter who was in charge of the decoration are drawn on the bottom, and "Deco Made in Sweden Helsingborg" is engraved on the back edge. Please also have a look at the pitcher , creamer and plate that are exhibited at the same time.
