This is a Swedish folk craft item, a Dala horse. It is a wooden statue, also called a Dala horse. It is a traditional craft item from the Dalarna region in central Sweden, and refers to wooden horse statues that are mainly colored red or blue. It was originally a toy for children to make around the fireplace in winter, but it eventually became a major craft item and was produced as a specialty of the Dalarna region.
The manufacturer was a local workshop called Akta Dalahemslojd, which no longer exists today, but it was a craft shop that produced traditional crafts for export and other regions of the country.

This wooden statue has been kept in the same condition as when it was first made. There is some slight peeling of the paint on the parent horse's ears. Overall, there are no cracks, chips or major peeling, and the original stickers are still in excellent condition.
