It is a coffee cup produced by Gustavsberg, a Swedish pottery maker. There are two sizes in this work, coffee cup and tea cup , but this is a small size coffee cup. Tea cups are widely distributed, but coffee cup sizes are relatively rare.

The series name Blohüssar means "blue cavalry". The uniforms of Swedish cavalrymen have traditionally been the same blue as the national flag, and even today the cavalry around the Royal Palace in Stockholm, the capital, wears blue uniforms to protect them. Blohüssar incorporates the blue armor worn by the cavalry into the design as a design.

Gustavsberg's tableware is basically decorated with a method called "transcription", in which paper on which the design is drawn is pasted, but this is a relatively rare hand-painted decoration for the company. The characteristic of the Blöhüssar series is that each piece has a rather uneven blue color.

This work was manufactured for only three years from 1968. There seems to be a point that it was difficult to make the same one as a standard product because of the large individual differences in the blue color in the background.
