ARABIA Taika Teapot FT11
ARABIA Taika Teapot FT11
The eyeball-like pattern drawn on Taika is based on wild white berries that grow in Finnish forests. Whiteberries, also known as snowberries or mulberries, are winter fruits that are ground and used for jam after being hand-picked. The design, drawn with a dancing brushstroke, looks as if the fruit is alive. I think Taika = magic is a word that expresses that dynamism. Vintage teapots often do not have a strainer, so they are in good condition with all the accessories.
