【Description of item】
Hand-painted with rosmarine (rosemary) flowers has a unique texture. Rosmarine originally has purple flowers on green foliage, but it is characterized by being drawn in brown. Designer Ulla Procoppe designed Valencia in 1961, the same year Rosmarin was also designed. The UP on the back stamp was designed by Ura Procoppe, and the RK separated by a slash is the initial of the painter who painted this vessel.
The hand sign is printed on the resale version, which is called the original S-model. Rosmarin's casseroles are often missing lids, so original lids are rare.

It is a good product with almost no traces of use. There are a few cutlery marks on the bottom of the main unit, but it is in good condition.

Ulla Procope ( 1921-1968 )
Born in Helsinki. After graduating from the Faculty of Art and Design at Aalto University in Helsinki in 1948, he joined Arabia. After that, he was in charge of design in the production department for 20 years, and produced the Ruska series in 1960 and the Valencia series in 1961. Rusca is the flagship product with the longest running and highest sales volume among Arabian products. The Valencia series is the last hand-painted product from Arabia. After retiring from active duty due to cancer, Procope emigrated to the Canary Islands in Spain, where he died at the age of 47.
