Lars Pagfeldt "Swallow's Nest" porcelain plaque
Lars Pagfeldt "Swallow's Nest" porcelain plaque
This is a ceramic relief made by Lars Pagfeldt, one of the famous Swedish potters. A swallow carrying food to small birds is drawn. It is a ceramic statue with a high degree of perfection, with a three-dimensional effect and a lustrous glaze. Pagfeldt is a ceramic artist who founded a workshop in Malmö, a port city in the south of Sweden in the middle of the 20th century, and mainly produced one-of-a-kind reliefs. This pottery statue is numbered on the back and you can see that it was made in a limited edition of 100 pieces. The Pagfeld Kiln was in operation until 1996. I think this pottery statue was made in the 80's or 90's.
