This is a creamer made by the famous Swedish kiln Gii Gantofuta. Gantofuta is a famous maker of ceramic plates, but in the mid-20th century they also produced small batches of fixtures. Plates and spice jars are standard, but this is a rare half-glazed creamer. The lower part of the pot is made of exposed clay, and the upper part and part of the handle are covered with a light blue glaze. It's a cute design that can be held in one hand.

The designer was Anita Nylund, who was responsible for designing fixtures at Gantoffta. Her tenure spanned from the 1950s to the 1960s, so I think this creamer was designed around the late 50s. The engraving on the gunto lids from the old days is a trapezoid with curved lines, which is different from the rectangular signature on the ceramic plate. Anita Nylund is the daughter of Gunnar Nylund, one of Sweden's leading ceramic artists, and a designer who is the same age as Lisa Larsson. It is known for its Janssons frestelse (Mr. Jansson's Temptation) series, which uses ethnic patterns in its designs.

■Details Manufacturer: Jie Gantofta Designer: Anita Nylund Year: 1950s (estimated)
Country of origin: Sweden Condition: ★★★★☆ (4.5: Very good condition)
There is a spot where the glaze has peeled off at the border between the light blue glaze and the unglazed part. This is caused by popping in the kiln during firing during manufacturing. The main unit itself is in unused condition.
