Irene is a vivid design that represents Rorstrand in the 20th century. The painting is hand painted. The designer is Austrian Rosemary Benedikt. It features a spiral design. Since the pour spout is double mouthed, it can be used regardless of the dominant hand.

Good product with no signs of use. A little less than 1 mm bulge can be seen on the inner bottom. (The area surrounded by the white dotted line). The three dents around the back stamp on the back are traces of the furnace stand during manufacturing.

Rosemarie Benedikt (1939- )
Born in Austria, Rosemary is located in the capital, Vienna. After graduating from the Hetzendorf Fashion School, he started his career as a designer in 1959 at the Rorstrand workshop in Lidköping, central Sweden. After retiring from Rorstrand in 1964, he returned to his hometown Austria, where he worked as an assistant professor at the Vienna Art School while setting up his own studio and focusing on glass crafts. Since 1993, I have been involved in supervision as a designer for Villeroy & Boch, a long-established German pottery maker.
