■ Product introduction Pomona is a masterpiece of Finland's leading tableware manufacturer ARABIA. Various kinds of berries are drawn in Pomona, but here is the very popular lingonberry fruit in Scandinavia. Please use it as a jam pot. Canister lids are often out of stock, so it is relatively rare to have a complete canister, and it was designed on the premise that it will be used as a jam pot. ARABIA stamped the date of manufacture on the back stamp until around 1970. This one has the notation 11-67, so it was manufactured in November 1967.

The paint is fading overall, and the surface of the lid can be seen when exposed to light. It is in good condition with no cracks or chips, but the evaluation takes into consideration the fading of the paint.

Raja Uosikkinen ( Raija Uosikkinen, 1923-2004 )
Born in Holoran, a town in southern Finland. in 1947 After graduating from the Faculty of Arts at Aalto University, he joined Arabia. For 40 years until 1986, he worked as an exclusive designer for Arabia, and was in charge of the design of the Emilia series and the Kalevala earplates that are manufactured every year during the Christmas season. He often collaborated with Kaj Franck, and basically Kaj Franck provided the form of the product, and Uosikkinen provided the decorative design. Her representative work, Emilia, is said to depict the ideal American lifestyle, and there was also an aspect of her admiration for the life in a distant country that was isolated from the life in Northern Europe.
