ARABIA's masterpiece Kirsikka from the 70's. Kirsikka is a Finnish word meaning "cherry", and is a gorgeous decoration with a plump cherry fruit drawn on the entire surface. The form adopts the same Peter Winqvist design as the masterpiece Crocus, but this is almost the same shape as the S model of Arabia's masterpiece Lusca series. Except for the shape of the lid, it almost follows the design of Ulla Procoppe.
Kirsikka has a beautiful red and green color scheme that is eye-catching even from a distance. It is relatively large, with a capacity of about 1 liter, and is a work that adds a touch of retro color to the dining table. Kirsikka is also a series that is prone to paint loss due to the manufacturing method in which the transfer paper is directly pasted. Please be careful not to use a dishwasher or kitchen heater.

There is slight paint loss on the lid and sides, but the condition is close to that of a dead stock item with no wear from use. I think that the paint loss on the lid is also seen from the time of manufacture because there is no thread on the lid.
