It is a flower-patterned porcelain plate baked in a kiln in Uppsala, about 80 kilometers north of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. This product has multiple color variations using the same mold, and various glazes such as green and blue are used. The designer is Berit Turner. Best known for his Kosmos series, Berit Turner works as a freelance designer for several workshops, including Uppsala-Ekby and Swedish glassmaker Raymüller. The design is characterized by a simple style in which a monochromatic glaze is roughly applied to the thick pottery clay. This orange glaze is also finished by passing it through the glaze pot only once so that it penetrates thinly into the dents. The wire on the back can also be replaced with a hole for horizontal orientation. The design is designed so that it can be displayed vertically or horizontally without any discomfort.
