This is a large vintage square plate from the famous Swedish pottery manufacturer Gustavsberg. Gustavsberg has produced tableware renowned for two elements: pattern and color scheme. This plate was designed by the company's legendary designer, Stig Lindberg. This plate is from the "Rosenfeldt" series, which means "Rose Garden," and was created in 1969 by Lindberg at the height of his maturity.

Rosenfeldt was only produced for three years, so it is a rare item that is hard to find even in Sweden. The shape of the pitcher follows the form invented by Stig Lindberg called the LL model. The masterpieces Bersa and Prunus are also the same model. Comes in a great value 2-piece set.
