This flower vase was manufactured in Sweden in the middle of the 20th century by Rorstrand. Geometric patterns are carved all over, and the deep glaze in the grooves creates shadows and creates a calm color tone overall.
The series name Sarek is the name of a national park in Jokkmokk in Lapland, northern Sweden, and is an area where untouched wilderness spreads all over. There is also a brown flower base in the same series, but this one is a larger blue version. It is used as a flower decoration that is larger than a single vase.
