This is a ceramic plate made by Nuvstrup, a Danish company founded in the early 20th century. Three girls wearing ethnic costumes are painted on rough brown unglazed pottery clay with a bright light blue and yellow glaze. It is a thick and heavy ceramic plate that looks great as a one-point decoration.

The designer is a German woman named Dietlinde Hein. He was recruited while studying at an art university and had a promising future at the Nubstrap Kiln, but died young in his late 30s. Her nav strap was registered from 1960 to 1965, but she designed this ceramic plate in 1960 when she was just 20 years old, and she was truly an up-and-coming designer.

The three girls are shaped with a hand spatula and thickly glaze is poured into the recesses. The color has depth and it is a model that gives you a sense of three-dimensionality. The light blue glaze is particularly brilliant, and it reflects the light beautifully when placed on a window sill. Her signature, D. Hein, is engraved small on the bottom right of the ceramic plate.
