This is a ceramic plate from the famous Swedish kiln Jii Gantofta. It is one size larger than the normal Gantt lid ceramic plate. Vaccinium vitis means lingonberry, and lingon is the Swedish word for it. Lingonberry jam is the most popular jam in Scandinavia, and is served with staple foods such as meatballs. It is not very familiar in Japan, but in a way it is a symbolic nut in Sweden and it is very familiar to life. This porcelain plate has a strong color of the glaze, and I think that it is a late work of the Gantofta kiln. The Gantofuta kiln was discontinued in 1992, but the newer the kiln, the brighter the color of the glaze. The glaze is thick and the plump petals are expressed, and the workmanship is excellent.
