This is a ceramic plate from the famous Swedish kiln Jii Gantofta. Gantofuta porcelain plates often have motifs of animals, plants, and landscapes, but this is a rare porcelain plate with a boy and a girl drawn on it. The brown part is unglazed, and glaze is applied to the depiction of the person and the bird on the upper right. The bird is depicted as blessing the couple with a flower in its beak.
