Birger Kaipiainen

Kaipiainen is one of Finland's leading designers and is known as the "King of Decorators". Kaipiainen, who suffered from polio at a young age, overcame difficulties and graduated from the prestigious Aalto University Faculty of Arts, and joined ARABIA in 1937. He designed timeless masterpieces such as Paratish (1969), Apia (1970), and Sunnuntai (1971), which are the company's flagship products.
