Hilkka Lisa Ahora hand-painted flower vase at ARABIA's art department. A picture of sunflowers is drawn with a unique sense of color. HLA's works are basically dark brown such as blue and purple, but this free cup also uses colors that clearly show that it was made by HLA. Although it has a large diameter, it can be used as a vase, a container, or a canister.

About Hilkka Lisa Ahola
(Hilkka-Liisa Ahola, 1920-2009)
After joining Arabia in 1947, during the 27 years until 1974, he worked on many one-of-a-kind atelier works called HLA designs, featuring floral patterns and female figures. Since each of her works is hand-painted, no two are exactly the same, giving it a unique presence among the many Arabian products on the market. Arabian designs often have calm tones, but Ahora's works are characterized by their sense of color, especially in blues and browns.
