A trio of teacups, saucers, and cake plates from the Noddebo series, which was a masterpiece of Danish Nuvstrup, founded in the early 20th century. The natural glaze hangs down around the spout, creating a pattern with a metallic feel to it. Scandinavian tableware has many monochromatic colors, but the gradation of the glaze is the characteristic of the Navstrup kiln. It also looks great as a decoration. The company closed its kiln in 1988, and now you can only get what is on the market. It is a high-quality dead stock product that is close to the highest grade among those currently available.

Although it is an unused deadstock product with no trace of use, there is a thin peeling of the glaze about 2mm on the edge of the cake plate. Please note that it is not a concern. When the light shines through the surface of the plate, you can see dents, and the back of the cup has a part that looks like a thread because the glaze is not applied sufficiently, but both are caused by the manufacturing process.
