Nimor Bjorn Wiinblad Cutting Board
Nimor Bjorn Wiinblad Cutting Board
It is a cutting board of Danish pottery Nimor. Manufactured in the 1960s, this series has 12 months of design like a calendar. This is a picture of the scenery in November. The image of a husband and wife snuggling up to a knitting wife is drawn. Children's clothes are drawn in the lower left, and the woman's belly is slightly swollen, and it looks like she is knitting for her unborn child. It is a relatively rare round cutting board, but it is as small as a pot stand. There is a hole in the top so you can use it as a wall hanging plate.
Designer Bjorn Wynblad is a Danish representative product designer in the mid-20th century. He is characterized by his round face like a kokeshi doll, and most of his tableware is colored in a single color. Even the small tableware is drawn with fine lines, and the facial expressions of the dancing men and women are vividly expressed.
