This is a ceramic plate from the famous Swedish kiln Jii Gantofta. It is one size larger than the normal Gantt lid ceramic plate. The Hjortron written on the back is a type of holome strawberry, but in Japan it is generally called a cloudberry. The Latin scientific name Rubus chamaemorus is engraved below. Jii Gantofuta has blueberry, lingonberry, cloudberry, and wild strawberry ceramic plates, but the cloudberry here is relatively rare. Designed alongside wildflowers, it captures the strength of the cloudberry native to its wild environment. Among the Gantt lid ceramic plates, it has a particularly high degree of perfection.
