This is a large-sized teacup from the Anemone series by Rörstrand, a famous Swedish pottery company. This is a cute piece decorated with anemone floral patterns, and is a rare series that was only produced for a very short period of time, from 1965 to 1968.
Considering the 1960s design, which was pop, and the traditional Scandinavian wreath patterns, Anemon was quite simple and unorthodox. After production was discontinued, Anemon gradually became more popular, but to this day, it has not been resold. Therefore, despite being a popular series, this work can only be obtained on the vintage market.
Anemone has a weak brown glaze, so paint loss is likely to occur and cutlery marks are easily noticeable. Combined with the short production period, it is rare and those in good condition are gradually becoming fewer and fewer. There are also small coffee cups, but this is a large-capacity teacup. There is a crack on the inside of the handle that occurred during manufacturing. It occurred during manufacturing and was shipped as is.
