フィンランドを代表する食器メーカーARABIA社の幻の名作クロッカスの20cmプレートです。クロッカスとはアヤメの花の一種です。クロッカスのプレートには白黒版、カラー版、グレーリム版の3種類がありますが、こちらは白黒版となります。クロッカスは1978～79年のわずか2年間しか製造されなかったシリーズです。近年ではマグカップ、ボウル、17cmプレートの復刻版が製造されました。
しかし復刻版はタイ産でありフォルムも甘く、オリジナルのクロッカスに見られたキャニスター、カップ＆ソーサー、ティーポットなどは復刻されていません。本国でも人気が高いアイテムでヴィンテージ市場で見ることもまれになり市場価格も高くなっています。こちらの20cmサイズは復刻されていないためヴィンテージでしか入手できないものです。
