It is an egg cup of Irene of the Swedish famous kiln Rorstrand. Irene is a vivid hand-painted vessel representing Rorstrand in the 20th century. The Irene series is a high-class series made thinly among Rorstrand tableware from the 60s and 70s, which has a lot of rugged designs. Cups, plates, and pitchers are all designed to be very light and easy to handle. The white glaze-based body is brightly colored with vivid blue and green paint, and you can feel the ingenuity to add rich color to the Scandinavian dining table, which has many winter days.

Rosemarie Benedikt ( 1939- )
Born in Austria, Rosemary is located in the capital, Vienna.
After graduating from the Hetzendorf Fashion School, he started his career as a designer in 1959 at the Rorstrand workshop in Lidköping, central Sweden. After retiring from Rorstrand in 1964, he returned to his hometown Austria, where he worked as an assistant professor at the Vienna Art School while setting up his own studio and focusing on glass crafts. Since 1993, I have been involved in supervision as a designer for Villeroy & Boch, a long-established German pottery maker.
