It is a ceramic object made by the old Swedish kiln Nitoa, founded in 1843. The designer was the company's signboard designer Thomas Hellstrom ( Thomas Hellstrom, 1924-2006). Hellstrom has been with Nitoa for more than half a century, during which time he has designed many ceramic objects with animal motifs. This is one with the motif of the thunderbird. It is warm and not too realistic, and it is an object that maintains the simple design of Scandinavia.
