Bing O Grendall was a pottery maker known for producing the world's first Christmas plate (year plate with the year) in 1895. We still publish Christmas plates every year, but the company was absorbed by Royal Copenhagen in 1987.
The Seagull series was sold as a Danish national tableware in the mid-century era of the 1950s, and has been loved for 30 years. Bing O Grendall is still a work of constant enthusiasts under the nickname of B & G.
