Bibi Breger

Bibi Breger (1927-2014)

Born in Fagersta, a town about 100 kilometers north of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. While studying textile design at Konstfack Art University , a famous art university in the country , he began to undertake design work while still in school. Her husband Karl-Arne Breger is also known as a famous product designer.

Gustavsberg's tenure at Bibi was short, from 1953 to 1957, but during that time he devised pattern designs that remain today, such as Prisma, Lotus, and Salix. After leaving Gustavsberg, she and her husband founded Breger Design AB, which is based in Malmö, southern Sweden. Many of her husband Karl's famous product designs were created after starting the business, and it makes me feel that there was Vivi's competence in the background.
